About Becki

Becki has always had a huge passion for music. She performed regularly at venues in her hometown of Coventry as one half of an acoustic duo, and has many years experience in vocal technique.

She studied Graded Classical Voice with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and in November 2016 enrolled as a Voice Teacher with the Institute of Vocal Advancement.

Becki belives that when it comes to singing, vocal balance is fundemental.   What is vocal balance?  The ability to sing across your vocal range in a free and natural manner, without breaking, cracking or straining.  Your voice, only better!

She is fortunate enough to have trained with some of the worlds leading Vocal Coaches, Master Teachers and Voice Trainers and is continually building on her knowledge and experience in voice training through regular education and the continual development of her own voice.

Here at Vocalise, you will receive a personalised vocal assessment at the beginning of every lesson. From there, we will work through a range of exercises that are tailored to your voice. You will receive an ongoing vocal development plan where we continually work to build on previous achievements to give you access to a voice that is free from strain, breaks and stress.

This will be uploaded to your own section on the website and updated regularly as we progress.

You don’t need to be able to read music! So many people worry that in order to sing  you have to be competent in sight reading - it's not true. Although if that's something you are interested in learning, Becki is also qualified to teach music theory - get in touch for more information!
